This article outlines the speed thresholds for how softball pitches are tracked versus how baseball pitches are tracked.

• The softball tracker differentiates between pitches thrown overhand (above 1.2m) and underhand.
• If a pitch is thrown underhand, the pitch speed threshold is 33.75mph (15 m/s).
• If a pitch is thrown overhand, the pitch speed threshold is the same for baseball -  speed limit of 45 mph (20m/s).

For BP mode the 45 mph (20m/s) speed is still the threshold for all pitches to be tracked.
