How to Access Organization FTP Folder

This article explains how to connect to the Trackman FTP server using FileZilla to access data files such as CSV exports generated by Trackman systems.

What Is the FTP Folder?

The FTP folder is a secure online directory at ftp.trackmanbaseball.com where Trackman Baseball data is stored in CSV format. Teams and organizations use it to access, download, and manage their verified and unverified game or session data using provided credentials.

How To Access the Data in the FTP Folder

We recommend using FileZilla as your FTP client.

  1. Install FileZilla
    • Download and install "FileZilla Client" here: FileZilla
  2. Open FileZilla
    • Launch the FileZilla application.
  3. Enter FTP Credentials
    • In the FileZilla connection bar at the top, enter the following information provided by Trackman
    • Host: FTP server address - ftp.trackmanbaseball.com
    • Username: Your FTP username
    • Password: Your FTP password
    • Port: Usually 21 (unless otherwise specified)
  4. Connect to the Server
    • Click “Quickconnect” to establish the connection.
    • If the credentials are correct, FileZilla will connect to the Trackman FTP server.
    • If you do not have your credentials, please reach out to datadesksupervisors@trackman.com.
  5. Navigate the FTP Directory
    • Once connected, the right panel in FileZilla will display the server directories. Navigate through the folders to locate your organization’s data.
  6. Download Files
    • To download files such as CSV data exports, simply drag the files from the server panel to your local computer.

CSV files generated by Trackman may contain pitching, hitting, or tracking data depending on the system configuration. If you experience login or connection issues, verify that your FTP credentials are correct and that your network allows FTP connections.

Please note that unverified csv's will be delivered within 30 minutes of submission, and verified regular season v3 data will be delivered no more than 24 hours after submission.
