Steps to Calibrate for Hitting

  1. Open the Trackman Baseball App and Connect to Wi-Fi 
    • Launch the Trackman Baseball app on your iPad or device. 
    • Go to the settings page, or tap the three lines ☰ in the right-hand corner to open the menu. 
    • Scroll down and hit the Connect to Trackman button. 
    • This links your device to the Trackman’s Wi-Fi.
  2. Start Calibration 
    • Tap the Calibrate Trackman button.
  3. Select Your Session Type 
    • A prompt will ask: hitting, pitching, or live AB? Choose the type of session you're doing today.
  4. Set Height and Distance 
    • Enter your setup details on the height and distance page. Distances range from 8 ft to 24 ft back—plenty of flexibility for different spaces. 
    • For a booth setup like this one, use 8 ft distance and 4 ft height. 
    • Click Next. 
  5. Align the Live Camera on Home Plate 
    • The live camera view appears with an orange box on home plate. 
    • Position the orange box exactly where the device should look for batted balls or incoming pitches. 
    • Click Next.
  6. Calibrate the Three Points of Home Plate
    • Tap the top left point of home plate
    • Click Next.
    • Tap the top right point
    • Click Next.
    • Tap the bottom point, then Next. 
  7. Set the Center Line to Second Base. 
    • Use your finger on the iPad screen to draw a straight line right up the middle to second base. 
    • Click Next.
  8. Verify Success 
    • If everything's done correctly, you'll see a big green check mark
